All four living presidents, first ladies attend Barbara Bush funeral
The four living former presidents and four First Ladies attended the funeral for former First Lady Barbara Bush in Houston on Saturday, and the couples snapped a picture together.
Posing for the photo were Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack and Michelle Obama, George W. and Laura Bush, and Barbara Bush’s husband, the 41st president George H.W. Bush.
Also attending the funeral was sitting First Lady Melania Trump, who was seen smiling along her husband’s predecessor in a photo that went viral over the weekend. President Donald Trump did not attend the funeral. The White House said in a statement that the president wished to respect the Bush family and “avoid distractions” that his security detail might create.
