Trump Jokes About Serving Up To “Five Terms” As President At Pennsylvania Rally [VIDEO]

President Donald Trump joked Monday night at a rally that he would love to serve as many as five terms in the White House.

Speaking before a large crowd in Montoursville, Pennsylvania, Trump again bragged about his unexpected 2016 election victory.

“And then we’ll drive them crazy. Ready? And maybe if we really like it a lot and if things keep going like they’re going, we’ll go and we’ll do what we have to do,” said Trump. “We’ll do a three and a four and a five.”

“We’re going to have another one, and it’s going to be great,” he added as the crowd cheered.

Trump has suggested three times before that he would like to serve more than eight years as president. Earlier this month, he retweeted a post from Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. that claimed Trump’s first term in office should be stretched by two years as payback for “time stolen by this corrupt failed coup,” a reference to the investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election and to all the other inquiries into Trump.

Trump also previously referenced the fact that Franklin D. Roosevelt was re-elected to a third term, serving 12 years in office from 1933 to 1945. Trump also responded to the news about Chinese President Xi Jinping becoming the country’s leader for life by saying, “maybe we’ll have to give that a try.”

Meanwhile, congressional Democrats remain divided over whether or not to impeach Trump following the damning revelations from special counsel Robert Mueller‘s full Russia probe report.

Trump has already outpaced even the top 2020 Democratic presidential candidates for his re-election campaign in terms of fundraising in the first quarter of this year.
