DONALD TRUMP TWEETS AT OPRAH WINFREY AFTER 60 MINUTES

The media mogul invited a panel of 14 Democrat, Republican and Independent voters – seven who voted for Trump, seven who did not – to discuss Trump’s first year in office. On Sunday, she completed a follow-up interview in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with the same group. As a result, the president tweeted out that Winfrey was “very insecure,” asked “biased” questions and got all her “facts incorrect.” He ended by saying that he hopes she runs for president in 2020 so that he can defeat her.

Winfrey has told numerous media outlets that she does not plan on running for office in 2020, despite rumors and reports that she would. She has, however, admitted that she considered the idea.

The panelists of voters on 60 Minutes ranged greatly from one another, with one saying “I love [Trump] more and more every day,” and others questioning the president’s stability, saying, “All he does is bully people.” Throughout the program, Winfrey did not make any declarative statements for or against the president. She did ask a series of questions ranging from whether or not the country is better off economically under Trump to whether the respect for the U.S. is declining worldwide under him.
