Former Vice President Joe Biden spoke candidly in a CNN interview last week about Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) and his efforts to investigate him in the Senate. Asked what he would say to Graham, Biden responded, “‘Lindsey, I just – I’m just embarrassed by what you’re doing, for you.’ I mean, my Lord.”
Graham had been earlier a friend of the former vice president, calling him “the nicest person” and “the greatest man.”
Biden said Graham was aware that there have been false allegations made against his son Hunter Biden. “I am disappointed, and quite frankly I’m angered by the fact,” Biden said. “He knows me. He knows my son. He knows there’s nothing to this. They’re asking Lindsey Graham, they have him under their thumb right now. They know he knows if he comes out against Trump, he’s got a real tough road for re-election. Trump is now essentially holding power over him that even the Ukrainians wouldn’t yield to… And Lindsey is about to go down in a way that I think he’s going to regret his whole life.”
