After Trump tweet on being the most poorly treated president in U.S. history, a recent poll by The Economist/YouGov found 53 percent of Republicans believe that Trump is a better president than Abraham Lincoln was. The poll surveyed 1,500 Americans.
In response to the poll results, former Hillary Clinton press secretary Jesse Ferguson tweeted about the result, “53% of Republicans” to trend on Twitter.
Both Democrats and Independents disagree with 94 percent of Democrats and 78 percent of Independents saying that Lincoln was a better president. Republicans prefered former president Ronald Reagan by 59 percent.
