Supreme Court hopeful Brett Kavanaugh and the first woman to accuse him of sexual assault, Christine Blasey Ford, are slated to appear before the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday. Ford, however, will be bringing four declarations with her from people who corroborate her story.

Of these four people, three of them are her friends and the other person is her husband, Russell Ford. All four of their sworn documentations have been sent to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Russell’s document explains how his wife first informed him of her victimization around the time they were married, with her opening up more about the ordeal during a 2012 therapy session. Adela Gildo-Mazzon, one of Ford’s friends, likewise first heard about Ford’s experience when the two went out to dinner in 2013. Gildo-Mazzon adds that she contacted Ford’s attorneys on Sept. 16.

Ford informed another friend, Keith Koegler, in 2016 in response to the sentencing of Brock Turner, who was accused of rape. Rebecca White, Ford’s neighbor, learned about Kavanaugh the following year.

Notably, two other women — Deborah Ramirez and Julie Swetnick — came forward following Ford, echoing the sentiment that Kavanaugh is a sexual deviant. Kavanaugh, however, has denied all sexual wrongdoing, speaking on Fox News earlier this week to contest his innocence.
