On Sunday, President Donald Trump and Gov. Larry Hogan (R-Maryland) got into an angry exchange over Twitter.

Reports show that Hogan spent millions of dollars on COVID-19 tests from South Korea that have proven to be inaccurate, and Maryland has had a recent surge in COVID cases. Trump shared this on his Twitter, writing that “Hogan is just as bad as the flawed tests he paid big money for!”

Hogan spent $9.5 million for 500,000 COVID tests, and another $2.5 million on replacement tests when he found that the original were faulty.

Hogan has said that the report is false, and responded to Trump’s tweet that if he had “done (his) job,” he wouldn’t have had to get his own tests, like many other governors nationwide.

“We have the current administration and the new administration not even talking to one another,” said Hogan, adding that lives are at stake.
