Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into President Donald Trump’s possible obstruction of justice is almost finished — but he may focus on other aspects of his probe .

Current and former U.S. officials told Bloomberg that Mueller may look more into the Trump campaign’s alleged collusion with Russia and Russia’s hacking of Democrats before in order to keep Trump from trying to shut down the investigation completely.

The officials said that Mueller may strategically not reveal his findings. To finish the obstruction investigation, the special counsel would likely need to speak with the President and Donald Trump Jr.

Mueller’s decision to not provoke Trump further may be warranted, as Trump has repeatedly sneered at the probe. The president recently called the raid on Michael Cohen’s office and home a “witch hunt” and “an attack on our country.”

However, Trump also tweeted about his willingness to work with Mueller on Thursday.

“I have agreed with the historically cooperative, disciplined approach that we have engaged in with Robert Mueller (Unlike the Clintons!),” Trump wrote on Twitter. “I have full confidence in Ty Cobb, my Special Counsel, and have been fully advised throughout each phase of this process.”
