The woman who was shot inside the Capitol as Trump supporters stormed the building has died, according to police officials.
No details about the woman have been released other than that she was a “civilian.” It is also unclear who fired the shot.
City police said three others had died during the protest from “medical emergencies.”
A video posted to Twitter on Wednesday may have shown the shooting in the Capitol.

In the video, a woman appears to climb onto a small ledge while draped in a flag. A shot is heard and the woman then fell to the ground, then people began to yell, “Where’s she hit?”
At least 13 people were arrested and five guns seized during the D.C. protest which came in response to Congress certifying President-elect Joe Biden‘s victory.
For weeks, President Donald Trump had promised his supporters a “wild” protest, but as the violence unfoiled on Wednesday, he urged them to go home.
“I am asking for everyone at the U.S. Capitol to remain peaceful. No violence!” Trump tweeted as pro-Trump protesters broke windows and damaged property. “Remember, WE are the Party of Law & Order – respect the Law and our great men and women in Blue. Thank you!”
After the woman was shot, Trump appeared in a video urging protesters to “go home.” He said “we love you,” and continued to push base allegations of widespread voter fraud.
