South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg announced on Sunday that he is dropping out of the race for the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination. Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire, but he faltered when it came to more demographically diverse states. He finished a distant fifth in the Nevada Caucuses and fourth in the South Carolina primary, where he got just 3% of the black vote.
