Back in October, former Republican presidential candidate Pat Robertson said that God told him Donald Trump would win the election. He encouraged people to get out and vote before adding, “It’s going to lead to civil unrest, and then a war against Israel and so forth,” but the televangelist is now singing a different tune.

After weeks of claiming the election results are fake, Robertson said Trump is being “erratic” and needs to move on from his “alternate reality” about the election.

After The 700 Club aired a report about Trump considering running in 2024, Robertson said, “With all his talent and the ability to raise money and grow large crowds, the president still lives in an alternate reality. He really does. People say, ‘Well, he lies about this, that, and the other.’ No, he isn’t lying. To him, that’s the truth.”

Robertson did commend Trump on the state of the economy during his presidency, but made a point to highlight false claims Trump made over the years.

Earlier on in the program, Roberston acknowledged Joe Biden‘s victory, further stating that Trump has had his day and “it’s time to move on.”

He added that Trump running in 2024 would be a “mistake” and a “sideshow.”

“We don’t need a sideshow for 2024,” said Robertson.
