On Tuesday, Pat Robertson, televangelist and founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network, shared that God had told him personally that President Donald Trump would be re-elected and the end of the world would follow soon thereafter.

“First of all, I want to say without question, Trump is going to win the election,” Robertson said, “That doesn’t mean you sit home and don’t vote. That means you get out and do everything you can do to work, but he’s going to win.”

He then turned to address what the aftermath of the election would look like. He said there would “be “be civil disobedience… the country will be turned apart,” and that there would “be at least two attempts on the president’s life,” and that conflict would occur with Russia, China, North Korea and Turkey.

Robertson also shared that a war against Israel would commence and that it would be “put down by God.” He said that after the war with Israel, God will allow for “at least five years or more of extraordinary peace… and one of the greatest spiritual revivals the world has ever known.” The peace would be quickly ended when the world is hit by an asteroid.

It’s not going to be some nuclear war. We’re not going to be allowed to blow this earth up.” After the asteroid’s destruction, Robertson said that “then, maybe the end” would come to the earth.

Robertson shared these remarks with The 700 Club on Tuesday. This is not the first time the 90 year-old has made big predictions – in 1976, he stated that the world would end in 1982. In 1990, his book, The New Millennium stated that the end of the world would be on April 29, 2007. It did not.
