Former Vice President Joe Biden won the South Carolina primary in a landslide vote on Saturday night. With just 5% of the vote in, Biden led with 54% of the vote. Sen. Bernie Sanders was a distant second with 13% and businessman Tom Steyer was in third with 12%.
Biden jumped to second place in the delegate count with 35 trailing only Sanders, who has 45.
Last week, Sanders would a decisive victory in the Nevada caucuses. Biden was a distant second place.
