George Conway Urges Trump Administration Officials To Resign
Conservative attorney George Conway urged Trump Administration officials to resign stating the West Wing loyalists are incapable of handling President Donald Trump for his actions.
“If you can’t have a positive effect on him, and I don’t think anybody can, yeah,” Conway, who is married to White House Counselor Kellyanne Conway, said on Preet Bharara’s podcast on Thursday,
His statement followed the Thursday letter addressed to Democratic Congress members, in which administration formally refused to participate in further Democratic impeachment activities. The eight-page document states the Democratic House’s actions “violate[s] the Constitution, the rule of law, and every past precedent,” in addition to denying Trump his “due process rights.”
White House Counsel Pat Cipollone attacked the entire impeachment process, arguing that until Congress formally votes to begin an inquiry, the White House is not obligated to cooperate with the House.
Cipollone claimed the proceeding is a Democratic effort to overturn the 2016 presidential election results and manipulate the 2020 race.

Conway called the arguments made by Cipollone “useless garbage,” stating that constitutional law grants the House the sole power to impeach public officials. He also added the chamber could hypothetically approve indictment without any hearings.
