On Wednesday, Rep. Nancy Mace (R-South Carolina) received surprising information at the House Oversight Committee’s UFO hearing. Officials suggested that “non-human” bodies have been found in “crashed crafts” that the U.S. government possesses.

Former U.S. intel officer David Grusch testified before a House Oversight and Accountability Subcommittee on National Security, the Border, and Foreign Affairs panel on the subject of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP), which refers to UFOs.

When asked by Mace if he believes “our government has made contact with intelligent extraterrestrials,” Grusch said that he could not discuss the matter “in a public setting.”

Grusch went on to explain that the bodies recovered from the crash crafts were “non-human.”

“That was the assessment of people with direct knowledge of the program I talked to that are currently still on the program.”

Mace asked Grusch if there was documented evidence of the biologics, but Grusch said that he could only disclose that information in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility.

The former intel officer also said that the U.S. is constructing a “multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse engineering program,” though committee members said that they have been denied access to investigate the program.

In opening comments, Democratic and Republican committee members expressed desires for more transparency on UAPs, specifically when it comes to UFOs as potentially unknown origin.
