Donald Trump Tweets About Mueller, Running For President While Managing Business: “Very Legal & Very Cool”
President Donald Trump went on another Twitter rampage early Friday morning ahead of the G20 Summit in Buenos Aires, Argentina, complaining about special counsel Robert Mueller‘s inquiry and boasting about running his real estate businesses while campaigning for president in 2016.
“Oh, I get it! I am a very good developer, happily living my life, when I see our Country going in the wrong direction (to put it mildly),” Trump tweeted at 4:52 a.m. EST (6:52 a.m. Buenos Aires time). “Against all odds, I decide to run for President & continue to run my business- very legal & very cool, talked about it on the campaign trail.”
The president continued writing in a separate tweet: “Lightly looked at doing a building somewhere in Russia. Put up zero money, zero guarantees and didn’t do the project. Witch Hunt!”

Trump appeared to be referring to an alleged Trump Tower real estate project in Moscow in 2016. On Thursday, his former personal lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty to lying to Congress about the deal, which reportedly included an idea for a penthouse for Russian President Vladimir Putin. Mueller’s team will now likely investigate whether Trump himself was directly involved in the project, which was reportedly brokered by Russian-born New York real estate developer Felix Sater, a former Trump business associate. Sater and Cohen allegedly discussed plans for this deal in 2016.

On Thursday, former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani — a member of Trump’s legal team — denied that the president had any involvement in the Trump Tower Moscow project.
“The story is a story. The President never heard of this and the concept never got anywhere beyond an unfunded letter of intent and never even a proposal or draft contract,” Giuliani told CNN.
According to Politico, Giuliani also said in a statement Thursday that he found it “hardly coincidental” that the special counsel moved to investigate this project “just as the President is leaving for a meeting with world leaders.” The former mayor also noted that Mueller “did the very same thing as the President was leaving for a world summit in Helsinki,” referring to the infamous meeting between Trump and Putin in Finland in July.
Trump also attacked Mueller’s probe as an “illegal Hoax” and a “Witch Hunt” in a pair of tweets on Thursday, citing renown attorney and frequent Fox News contributor Alan Dershowitz.
“This demonstrates the Robert Mueller and his partisans have no evidence, not a whiff of collusion, between Trump and the Russians. Russian project legal. Trump Tower meeting (son Don), perfectly legal. He wasn’t involved with hacking.” Gregg Jarrett. A total Witch Hunt!

Alan Dershowitz: “These are not crimes. He (Mueller) has no authority to be a roving Commissioner. I don’t see any evidence of crimes.” This is an illegal Hoax that should be ended immediately. Mueller refuses to look at the real crimes on the other side. Where is the IG REPORT?
