As the deadline to find funding for key parts of the federal government looms closer, President Donald Trump demanded Democrats and Republicans come together to fund his southern border wall, warning that he would shut the government down if he doesn’t get funding for the wall.
In a Friday morning tweet, President Trump demanded funding for his border wall as part of “a major Border Security package” just weeks before Congress’s December 7 deadline to avoid a government shutdown.
The end-of-the-fiscal-year deadline was set in September when the federal government’s annual budget was up for review. In lieu of a government shutdown, President Trump and the Republican Party decided to pass a partial budget, leaving many final budgetary decisions until after the midterm elections. But in the wake of Democratic takeover of the House, opposition to Trump’s long promised border wall has soared.

Would be a major victory for ALL!”
