Fox News Apologizes After Guest Anna Paulina Compares Hillary Clinton To “Herpes”

Fox News issued an apology to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday after a guest said that Clinton was “like herpes.”

During a panel discussion surrounding Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server while serving as Secretary of State, host Rick Leventhal stated that he was “amazed” that Clinton was still making headlines two years after her failed presidential campaign.

Guest Anna Paulina, the Director of Spanish Engagement for Turning Points USA, responded to Leventhal by saying, “She won’t go away, she’s like herpes.”

She was taken off the air shortly after making her comment. Leventhal issued an apology to the network’s viewers later in the piece, saying, “We are going to wrap this segment a little bit early because of the language that was used in the segment, and we apologize to our viewers for that.”
