Donald Trump Reportedly Told Aides Stormy Daniels Is “Not His Type”

Donald Trump hasn’t tweeted anything about Stormy Daniels before or after the porn star’s 60 Minutes interview, although he has suggested he would never pursue Daniels romantically.

The president has reportedly dismissed claims he and Daniels had an affair by telling aides she is “not his type.”

“Privately, the president has lobbed sharp attacks at Daniels and her media tour, calling her allegations a ‘hoax’ and asking confidants if the episode is hurting his poll numbers. The president even has griped to several people that Daniels is not the type of woman he finds attractive,” the Washington Post reports.

Sources at the White House also reportedly told the Post that Trump was one of the estimated 22 million Americans who watched Daniels’ 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper on Sunday night.

Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, revealed details about her 2006 affair with Trump, which came just months after he and Melania Trump welcomed son Barron, now 12.

According to the Post, Trump “personally did not think Daniels appeared credible” on 60 Minutes, and doesn’t believe his base — which includes Evangelicals and other Christian conservatives — will stop supporting him because of this scandal. Many evangelicals continued to support Trump even after his infamous 2005 Access Hollywood bus tape leaked just weeks before the 2016 election.

Daniels stated that she wasn’t attracted to Trump when they had unprotected sex in Lake Tahoe in 2006.

“Would you be?” she asked in her 2011 interview with In Touch magazine, where she first spoke out about their “textbook generic” intercourse. “I was more like fascinated. I was definitely stimulated. We had a really good banter,” she said. “Good conversation for a couple hours. I could tell he was nice, intelligent in conversation.”

That interview was not publicly revealed up until recently. Daniels reportedly sold that story to In Touch for $15,000 at the time. They held the story due to threatened legal action, and only published it earlier this year.

Daniels was allegedly paid $130,000 by Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen weeks before the 2016 election to remain silent about the affair. She has also alleged Trump never signed the non-disclosure agreement they reached.
