Two protestors who stormed on stage during former Vice President Joe Biden were tackled by two unlikely bystanders: his wife, Jill Biden, and his campaign’s senior advisor, Symone Sanders

As Biden gave his victory speech after Super Tuesday in California after also winning Virginia, Alabama, Minnesota, Tennessee, Oklahoma and Arkansas. He said, “Let’s get something straight. Wall Street didn’t build this country. You built this country. The middle class built this country. And unions built the middle class.”

As he was speaking, two vegan protesters wielding “Let Dairy Die” signs climbed on stage. Many vegan protestors have been turning up to many political gatherings across California.

Jill Biden immediately shielded her husband with her body as a security guard removed the first protestor from the stage. As a second approached, both Jill Biden and Symone Sanders, former national press secretary for Bernie Sanders, fought back. Biden grabbed the protestor by the wrists and pushed her back, as Sanders tackled her and removed her from the stage.
