More than three-fourths of Democrats say they believe Trump had an affair with Daniels, and only 5 percent disagree.

The legal battle between Trump and Daniels has continued to grow after the latter was interviewed on 60 Minutes on Sunday night, when she revealed many details about the alleged affair. Daniels was reportedly paid $130,000 by Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen just weeks before the 2016 election to remain silent about the affair. She has claimed Trump never signed the non-disclosure agreement they reached and has now threatened to sue Cohen for defamation. Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti has also threatened to depose Trump and Cohen.

Daniels had previously revealed her affair with Trump in a 2011 interview with In Touch magazine. That same year, Daniels was reportedly threatened to stay quiet about her affair with Trump.

The White House has continued to deny Daniels’ claims.

“The president strongly, clearly and has consistently denied these underlying claims,” deputy press secretary Raj Shah said. “The only person who has been inconsistent is the one making the claims.”
