Rep. Al Green (R-Texas) announced Wednesday that he was bringing articles of impeachment against Donald Trump after the president said Palestinians should be removed from Gaza and the U.S. should “take over.” “I rise to announce that I will bring articles of impeachment against the president for dastardly deeds proposed and dastardly deeds done,” Green said. Green quoted Martin Luther King Jr. during his announcement, saying, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere, and injustice in Gaza is a threat to justice in the United States of America.” Green launched multiple impeachment bids against Trump during his first term.
