Trump claims Barack Obama tapped his phone during election (March 4, 2017)

In this March 4 tweet, Trump alleged his predecessor was monitoring his phone throughout the election, and compared the unproven scandal to that of a previous Republican President. He also misspelled “tap” in the process.

Even more ironically, political and journalistic pundits have called the Trump Administration’s collusion with Russia, which involved getting dirt on Hillary Clinton among other things, a scandal as big or perhaps even greater than Nixon’s Watergate.

Also, many Americans have said they believe Trump is mentally ill, so him using the term “sick” to describe Obama seems a little bit like, what’s the phrase? The pot calling the kettle orange?
