Former President Donald Trump lashed out at election officials after the Republican he endorsed, Blake Masters, lost his U.S. Senate race to Democrat Mark Kelly in Arizona.

“Idiot, and possibly corrupt, officials have lost control of the tainted Election in Arizona,” Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social. “A NEW ELECTION MUST BE CALLED FOR IMMEDIATELY!”

He added that voting machines were found to not be working in Republican districts of the state’s Maricopa County.

Masters conceded to Kelly on Tuesday.

“There were obviously a lot of problems with this election, but there is no path forward in my face,” he wrote.

He did not elaborate on what problems he was referring to.

“Republicans are the underdogs now,” he added. “I was outspent by over $70 million. That’s what happens when you take on the national Democrat machine, the media, the universities, Big Tech and woke corporations.”

Another of Trump’s Arizona Republicans, Kari Lake who was running for governor, lost her race on Monday night. Democratic candidate and current Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs beat Lake by a slim 50.3% to 49.67% margin to flip the seat and become the state’s first Democratic governor in 14 years.

Similar to Trump, Lake attributed her defeat to a “suppression of Republican votes.”

“Arizonans know BS when they see it,” Lake, who has not yet conceded, wrote on her Twitter account.

Trump has claimed voter fraud since he lost the 2020 election to President Joe Biden. He also formally launched his campaign for the White House in the 2024 election on Tuesday night.
