White House Officials Hid Records Of Trump’s Phone Calls With Putin & Saudi Royals On Top Secret Server

A declassified whistleblower complaint revealed that the Trump Administration attempted to hide records of the Ukrainian president’s call with President Donald Trump, in which Trump pressured him to investigate rival former Vice President Joe Biden. New reports Saturday suggest that the White House also hid Trump’s calls with Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Saudi royal family on the same secret server.

White House officials attempted to lock-down all records of the Trump-Zelensky call, especially the original document and other verbatim transcripts. After intense pressure, the White House released a rough transcript of the July 25 call between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced a formal impeachment  investigation of Trump on Tuesday,.

The whistleblower complaint outlines a number of alleged crimes by Trump. “In the course of my official duties, I have received information from multiple U.S. government officials that the President of the United States is using the power of his office to solicit interference from a foreign country in the 2020 U.S. election,” the complainant said. “This interference includes, among other things, pressuring a foreign country to investigate one of the President’s main domestic political rivals.”

An informant reported that days after the phone call, White House officials removed the electronic transcript from the standard computer system, in which Cabinet-level officials are granted privileges, and transferred it into a separate electronic system used to handle classified information.

On Thursday, White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham announced, “Nothing has changed with the release of this complaint, which is nothing more than a collection of third-hand accounts of events and cobbled-together press clippings—all of which shows nothing improper.”
