Former President Barack Obama delivered his first in-person speech at a campaign rally for Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden on Wednesday. The drive-in event was held in the parking lot of a Philadelphia sports complex.

During his speech, Obama discussed a New York Times story that revealed that President Donald Trump had paid more in taxes to China between 2013 and 2015 than he did in his first year as president. “A secret Chinese bank account. How is that possible? Listen. Can you imagine if I had had a secret Chinese bank account when I was running for reelection? You think Fox News might have been a little concerned about that? They would have called me ‘Beijing Barry,” the former president joked during his Wednesday speech.

Obama’s anti-Trump speech and usage of the phrase “Beijing Barry” sparked an explosion of memes on various social media platforms. Obama’s speech struck a chord with many viewers, who are now using clips from the rally to demonstrate how they feel towards the Trump administration. The former president’s speech is just the first of many that he intends to deliver on behalf of Joe Biden and his running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-California), over the next week and a half.
