Former Vice President Joe Biden claimed Wednesday that his biggest concern about the general election is that President Donald Trump will attempt to “steal” it by limiting access to voting.

“My single greatest concern…This president is going to try to steal this election,” Biden, the presumptive 2020 Democratic nominee, said, in an interview on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show With Trevor Noah.

Biden noted that Trump, who repeatedly claims that mail-in ballots promote fraud and diminish the legitimacy of elections, used one in the Florida primary earlier this year.

The president’s allegations emerge as several state elections have tapped mail-in procedures as the coronavirus grips the U.S.

During the interview, Noah questioned Biden about Trump possibly refusing to leave office. Biden said that he believed military intervention would be used.

“I am absolutely convinced they will escort him from the White House with great dispatch,” Biden said.
