Violent Parody Video Played At Trump Resort Shows President Killing Political Opponents & Media

A violent parody video showing the likeness of President Donald Trump shooting, stabbing and assaulting his political opponents and members of the news media in a church, was shown an American Priority conference at Trump’s Miami resort.

The political group posted a statement on their website condemning the video, noting that it “was not approved, seen, or sanctioned” by the conference organizers and that it was shown in a side room. The statement added that the organizers were unaware of the video until they were contacted for comment by the New York Times, and went on to rebuke the Times for not covering the conference.

“We find it shocking that the New York Times would not report on any of the sanctioned events in the article. Including our panel conversation LITERALLY condemning political violence while claiming to be upset over a meme that was not sanctioned, shown on stage or approved,” the statement reads.

The video is adapted from the movie, Kingsman: The Secret Service, and shows Trump’s face on a killer’s body. Trump’s critics and media members are portrayed as churchgoers fleeing his killing spree.

Targets in the video included Sen. John McCain, comedian Rosie O’Donnell, Sen. Bernie Sanders, Barack Obama, Bill and Hillary Clinton, House Intelligence Committee chairman Adam Schiff and Black Lives Matter. Media outlets portrayed as victims included CBS, CNN, The Washington Post, NBC, ABC, PBS, Politico and the BBC.

While the video contained a Trump 2020 logo, the campaign has denied producing the video and said they do not condone violence.

CNN, one of the organizations targeted in the video, issued a statement denouncing the video and calling on the White House to condemn it as well.

“The images depicted are vile and horrific,” said CNN. “The President and his family, the White House, and the Trump campaign need to denounce it immediately in the strongest possible terms. Anything less equates to a tacit endorsement of violence and should not be tolerated by anyone.”

White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham tweeted Monday morning that Trump has not yet seen the video, “but based upon everything he has heard, he strongly condemns this video.”
