Donald Trump's mother Mary Trump
President Donald Trump recalled his late mother, Mary Anne Trump, on a Fox & Friends interview on Friday as he wished the country’s mothers an early happy Mother’s Day.
“My mother was somebody that gave me a lot of confidence, and she believed in me,” Trump said.
He claimed that his personality stems from the way his mother treated him.
“I had a great mom. I loved my mom, and she loved me,” Trump said during the interview. “She was so good to me. I couldn’t do any wrong, which is a big problem. Maybe that’s why I ended up the way I ended up. I don’t know. I couldn’t do any wrong in her eyes.”
