An account re-posting former President Donald Trump‘s statements was banned by Twitter last week. The platform explained that the account “@DJTDesk” violated Twitter’s evasion policy, as Trump is still indefinitely suspended from the platform.

@DJTDesk’s bio read, “Posts copied from Save America on behalf of the 45th POTUS; Originally composed via DonaldJTrump/Desk.”

A Twitter spokesperson said in a statement Friday regarding the account’s suspension that “as stated in our ban evasion policy, we’ll take enforcement action on accounts whose apparent intent is to replace or promote content affiliated with a suspended account.”

Trump senior advisor Jason Miller has since said that neither Trump nor his team were associated with the suspended account.

A panel of lawyers, activists and journalists acting as Facebook’s Oversight Board ruled Wednesday to uphold the company’s ban of former President Donald Trump. The committee’s decision means that Trump will not have access to his massive Facebook or Instagram accounts at any time in the near future. Twitter has also confirmed that Trump will not be allowed back on the platform.
