President Donald Trump’s spiritual adviser Paula White has proclaimed herself to be “a holy person,” according to Right Wing Watch. White has recently joined the White House staff. She says that subsequently whatever she touches “turns holy.”
White preached in June 2019 at the River Church in Tampa. in her speech, she said that she was making the ground of the White House holy and sacred simply by her presence there. She gave an impassioned speech that oozed with her trademark histrionics.
She said, “The church is Christ’s body in which he speaks and acts and by which he fills everything, including the White House, including government halls.”
“How does he do that?” she asked. “He does that through you. He does that through me. Wherever I go, God rules. When I walk on White House grounds, God walks on White House grounds. When I walked in the River, God walked in the River… I have every right and authority to declare the White House as holy ground because I was standing there and where I stand is holy.”
