Former President Donald Trump said that if the temperature is not “brought down in this country, terrible things are going to happen, following the FBI’s executed search warrant over his Mar-a-Lago residence.
“The country is in a very dangerous position,” Trump said during an appearance on Fox News. “There is tremendous anger like I’ve never seen before, over all of the scams, and this new one — years of scams and witch hunts, and now this.”
“If there is anything we can do to help, I, and my people, would certainly be willing to do that,” he added.
The unprecedented search of a former President’s home has caused an uproar among Trump supporters and has increased concern over threats to law enforcement. Just last week an armed man made an effort to breach the FBI’s Cincinnati office before engaging in a shootout where he was fatally shot.

There were “years of fake witch hunts and phony Russia, Russia, Russia schemes and scams,” Trump continued during the interview. “And then they break into a president’s house — a sneak attack where it was totally—no one ever thought a thing like this would happen.”
He reiterated that his lawyers and members of his team were told to stay outside during the search, allowing the FBI to take or plant anything they wanted.
The unsealed search warrant and itemized list reported the FBI found 11 sets of classified documents at Mar-a-Lago and that Trump is under investigation for possible violation of the Espionage Act. The Justice Department’s investigation into Trump began in February when the National Archives indicated Trump may have violated the Presidential Records Act, which requires Presidents to turn in documents and records at the end of their administration, after locating 15 boxes of classified White House documents at Trump’s Palm Beach, Florida, home.
