President Donald Trump tweeted an edited video of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stumbling over her words on Thursday, adding to recent character attacks towards the Democratic house speaker.
The edited video appeared to have came from a segment on Fox News Business, showing selected parts of a weekly press conference held by Pelosi on Thursday. The edits include a part of the conference repeated multiple times.
This comes a day after the president walked out of an infrastructure meeting with Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer after Pelosi accused Trump of a “cover up” leading up to their meeting. The recent snub at the house speaker comes the same day that Trump called Pelosi “crazy” at a press conference. “She’s not the same, she’s lost it,” the president said.

Although this video appears to just be slowed down, it shows the possibility for a whole new form of smear tactics that candidates may have to worry about leading up to the 2020 presidential elections.
