Trump Thinks Coronavirus Is ‘So Unfair’ To Him & His Reelection Bid

President Donald Trump reportedly feels that the coronavirus pandemic is “so unfair” to him and that it has messed up his reelection bid.

“He was just in a f***ing rage,” an adviser who spoke with Trump last week told Vanity Fair. “He was saying, ‘This is so unfair to me! Everything was going great. We were cruising to reelection!”

“The problem is he has no empathy,” the adviser said of Trump seemingly worrying about the pandemic’s effects on his reelection more than the 100,000 American lives lost because of it.

Trump has trailed behind presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the polls, particularly within key demographics in swing states.

A Republican briefed on the campaign’s internal polls say that Trump is behind Biden by double digits among women over 50 in six swing states.

“Trump knows the numbers are bad. It’s why he’s thrashing about,” the Republican said.

Confidence is the president’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic has continued to drop, with only 23% of Americans saying they trust what he says during his coronavirus task force briefings.

National polls across the board show Biden leading — a head-to-head poll conducted last week by Fox News shows Biden holding an 8-point lead over Trump.
