President Donald Trump reportedly feels that the coronavirus pandemic is “so unfair” to him and that it has messed up his reelection bid.

“He was just in a f***ing rage,” an adviser who spoke with Trump last week told Vanity Fair. “He was saying, ‘This is so unfair to me! Everything was going great. We were cruising to reelection!”

“The problem is he has no empathy,” the adviser said of Trump seemingly worrying about the pandemic’s effects on his reelection more than the 100,000 American lives lost because of it.

Trump has trailed behind presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden in the polls, particularly within key demographics in swing states.
