Trump Thanks Himself On Thanksgiving For Making “Tremendous Differences” For America

President Donald Trump told reporters that for this Thanksgiving, he was thankful for his family and for the “tremendous differences” he has made for the country.

During a press gathering at the president’s Mar-A-Lago resort, Trump told reporters that he was thankful “for having a great family and for having made a tremendous difference in this country. I’ve made a tremendous difference in the country. This country is so much stronger now than it was when I took office that you wouldn’t believe it.”

He went on to say that world leaders “cannot believe the difference in strength between the United States now and the United States two years ago,” and that he has “made a lot of progress.”

Prior to this, the president roused criticism for using the traditional Thanksgiving phone call to service members across the world to attack the decisions made by the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and to call further tightening of the U.S.-Mexico border.

“It’s a terrible thing when judges take over your protective services, when they tell you how to protect your border. It’s a disgrace,” Trump said on one of his calls. “It’s a disgrace.”
