The day after the second and final presidential debate on Thursday, President Donald Trump held a campaign rally at The Villages Polo Club, a massive retirement village in Florida. Notably, he was trying to win the votes of seniors and women, two groups whose numbers are currently not in favor of the president. Specifically, recent polls show Trump far behind Democratic candidate Joe Biden among female voters and older voters.

During his speech, Trump declared that vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris is “the most liberal member of the United States Senate.” He reassured the crowd that “Kamala will not be your first female President,” as he blatantly mispronounced her name while the crowd booed loudly. Trump went on to explain that “we’re not going to be a socialist nation. We’re not going to have a socialist president, especially a female socialist president, we’re not gonna’ have it, we’re not gonna’ put up with it.”

Trump, who is currently trailing Biden in the most latest polls, would need to secure an electoral victory in Florida in order to stand a chance on keeping his seat in the White House.
