President Donald Trump tweeted Wednesday that Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts) and the Democratic Party worked together to minimize Sen. Bernie Sanders’ (D-Vermont) chances of getting the Democratic nomination against former Vice President Joe Biden.
The president tweeted, “Pocahontas, working in conjunction with the Democrat Party, totally destroyed the campaign of Bernie Sanders.”
He added, “If she would have quit 3 days earlier, Sanders would have beaten Biden in a route, it wouldn’t even have been close. They also got two other losers to support Sleepy Joe!” He was likely referring to Sen. Kamala Harris’ (D-California) and Sen. Cory Booker’s (D-New Jersey) recent endorsements of the former vice president.
