President Donald Trump, in a string of tweets about the Russia investigations, accused former president Barack Obama of committing the “biggest political crime in American history.”

When a conservative talk show host Buck Sexton said Obama, “used his last weeks in office to target incoming officials and sabotage the new administration,” Trump shared the tweet with the message, “the biggest political crime in American history, by far!”

Another tweet simply read, “OBAMAGATE!”

The tweets came as the Justice Department dropped their case against former national security adviser Michael Flynn.  Flynn was fired by the Trump Administration for lying to Vice President Mike Pence about conversations with the Russian ambassador. The intelligence community believed that the efforts were meant to sway the 2016 election in Trump’s favor.

Sexton also tweeted that FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, whom Trump also fired, was “a dishonorable partisan scumbag who has done incalculable damage to the reputation of the FBI and should be sitting in a cell for lying under oath.”

Trump went on a Twitter rampage, tweeting over 50 times, of countless attacks against the Russia investigations and the former president.
