Trump Claims He Went To White House Bunker ‘For An Inspection’ Amid George Floyd Protests

President Donald Trump is claiming that he went to the White House bunker to  “inspect” it after he was widely mocked for hiding during protests.

On Wednesday, Trump said in an interview with Fox News Radio that majority of the reports were on his bunker visit were incorrect.

“Well, it was a false report. I wasn’t down. I went down during the day, and I was there for a tiny little short period of time, and it was much more for an inspection,” Trump said during the Wednesday interview. “There was no problem during the day.”

Trump also insisted that the protest has not been a threat to his safety, thanks to the Secret Service’s “unbelievable job of maintaining control in the White House.”
