President Donald Trump asked the Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison to investigate the genesis of Russian interference in 2016 presidential elections and debunk theories developed in the Mueller Report in a phone call last summer.
Department of Justice Spokesperson Kerri Kupec and White House Spokesperson Hogan Gidley also verified that countries including Australia, England and Italy were solicited by the Trump administration to delve into the findings of the Mueller Report. which they believe to flawed in its findings.
Attorney General William Barr and U.S. Attorney John Durham are heading up the DOJ investigation of the Mueller Report in cooperation with the Australian government, which appears to be under considerable pressure.
The Australian government spokesperson Andrew Greene confirmed the details of Trump’s call with PM Morrison.
