Rep. Diane Black (R-Tenn.) believes she knows one of the critical underlying cause of the epidemic of school shooting: pornography.
Black spoke with a group of local black pastors recently regarding schooling shootings, where she blamed pornography as a root cause. “It’s available on the shelf when you walk in the grocery store,” she explained. “Yeah, you have to reach up to get it, but there’s pornography there. All of this is available without parental guidance. I think that is a big part of the root cause.”
Black also blamed the “deterioration of the family,” violent media and mental illnesses as other factors, the latter of which she stressed is something “we’ve got to address.”
Black, 67, is currently running to become governor of Tennessee. She also recently proposed a “border wall trust fund,” where citizens could donate money to help construct president Donald Trump‘s signature border wall.
