Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) spent the day at former President Donald Trump‘s Palm Beach golf club, Mar-A-Lago, on Tuesday .

“Had a great dinner tonight with President Trump at Mar-a-Lago,” Cruz wrote in his message. “He’s in great spirits! We spent the evening talking about working together to re-take the House & Senate in 2022.”

Since then, Cruz also cosponsored a motion to remove the Major League Baseball associations antitrust protections as punishment for their choice to move the league’s All-Star game out of Georgia. The MLB moved the game’s venue as protest to the state’s new restrictive voting laws.
