Sen. Rand Paul Mocked For Calling Legal Voting Process ‘Stealing’
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Kentucky) was dragged on social media after he accused Democrats of “stealing elections” legally by convincing potential voters to support them.
Sharing American Conservative’s “’The Wisconsin Purchase’ ‘How Mark Zuckerberg’s millions and the Center for Technology and Civic Life turned Wisconsin blue in 2020,’” he wrote, “How to steal an election: ‘Seeding an area heavy with potential Democratic votes with as many absentee ballots as possible, targeting and convincing potential voters to complete them in a legally valid way, and then harvesting and counting the results.’”

He was swiftly ridiculed on Twitter as he essentially described the voting process.
That’s literally just winning more votes. Legally. That’s how elections work.

To paraphrase, encouraging voters to vote “in a legally valid way” is now being defined as “how to steal an election.” 🤦🏻♂️ https://t.co/AQYnzxsNp2

You literally described the legal voting method. That’s not stealing you idiot. It’s called letting American’s vote. It feels like stealing because your party is shrinking into nothing.

I am sorry that all these US citizens…checks notes…legally voted in a way you didn’t like

(1) Giving voters ways to votes
(2) Encouraging those voters to vote
(3) Counting those votes?
That’s called “democracy”.

In a blow to former President Donald Trump, Wisconsin turned blue during the 2020 elections. Wisconsin Republicans are still pushing the highly disputed claim that Democrats stole the election from Trump.
