Rudy Giuliani was spotted walking around the White House grounds on Friday, the day the House Judiciary Committee voted on impeachment articles against President Donald Trump. Giuliani was seen walking from the Old Executive Office Building into the West Wing with his son, Andrew Giuliani. It is uncertain if Giuliani had given Trump legal advice on the impeachment articles and if he would continue to be Trump’s personal attorney.
Over the past 20 months, Trump has relied on Giuliani’s free legal services to investigate issues in Ukraine. His activities led to the impeachment proceedings. Trump had mentioned Giuliani was eager to share his findings from a recent trip to Ukraine to help in his defense.
Giuliani’s pro bono advocacy has lead to complaints about his failure to file government documents regarding Trump’s legal services. Although Giuliani’s volunteer activity is frowned upon, it is not illegal. He is, however, required to disclose information regarding his pro bono services to the government.
