Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Mocked For Mistaking ‘Gestapo’ For ‘Gazpacho’
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) made headlines again this week, but this time it wasn’t because of her political views. She mistakenly mixed up the word “Gestapo” which refers to secret Nazi police with “gazpacho,” a delicious Spanish soup.
Greene appeared on OAN’s Real America with Dan Ball.
“Not only do we have the D.C. jail, which is the D.C. gulag,” Greene said. “Now we have Nancy Pelosi’s gazpacho police spying on members of Congress, spying on the legislative work that we do, spying on our staff and spying on American citizens that want to come to talk with their representatives.”
Just to clear things up, @RepMTG

The mistake prompted snide remarks from Democrat colleagues.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) penned a tweet referring to Greene’s support of banning books about racial injustice.
At least she leads by example. She clearly banned all books from her house years ago https://t.co/SGMheBuFzn

Rep. Grace Meng (D-New York) also made a dig at Greene for the blunder.
To every little girl out there: don’t ever think you’re not smart enough to run for office. https://t.co/fKl376AVIn
