Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-Arizona) was accosted by protesters at D.C.’s Reagan Airport on Monday over her refusal to support Democrats’ $3.5 trillion social spending bill.

Green New Deal Network chief of staff Kunoor Ojha and a slew of other activists shouted questions at the senator while she was on the phone. “Hi, Sen. Sinema? Is it elder care that you want to cut, or is it child care?”

Sinema released a statement on Monday, in which she described being harassed in a public restroom last week. “After deceptively entering a locked, secure building, these individuals filmed and publicly posted videos of my students without their permission — including footage taken of both my students and I using a restroom,” she said.
