Prosecutors Discover Nude Photos Cache In Jeffrey Epstein’s New York Townhouse

Prosecutors discovered a cache of hundreds of nude photos of women and young girls in the New York townhouse of Jeffrey Epstein, who was recently charged with child sex trafficking.

During a search of Epstein’s seven-floor, 21,000 square-foot large townhouse on Saturday, at nearly the same time as his arrest at Teterboro Airport in New Jersey, federal investigators uncovered a hoard of nude photos in a safe in the billionaire’s house. According to the prosecutors, they seized hundreds, possibly thousands, of “sexually suggestive” photos which included nude or partially nude girls. The safe also contained CDs with labels such as “Girl pics nude.” Investigators say that this cache of photos displays Epstein’s predatory attitude towards young women. “This is not an individual who has left his past behind,” said Alexander Rossmiller, a government lawyer.

Epstein is being charged by federal prosecutors with child sex trafficking, a crime which he avoided severe punishment for roughly a decade ago by entering into a sweetheart plea deal that largely let him off the hook. The deal, overseen by current Labor Secretary Alex Acosta, allowed Epstein to serve only 13 months in a county jail while spending 12 hours a day, six days a week, in his work office. It seems that the billionaire may not get away so easily this time, as many are determined to right the Justice Department’s 11-year-old wrong and put Epstein in jail.

The trove of photos came up as prosecutors argued against the defense attorney’s requests that Epstein be let out on bail. The investigators claimed that his massive wealth made him a significant flight risk. With six homes and two private jets, it would be easy for the billionaire to grease his way out of the country using his vast collection of assets and then disappear from the sight of federal prosecutors. “He is a man of nearly infinite means,” said Rossmiller.
