A new viral video shows protesters from the Capitol riots on Jan. 6 pulling a Capitol Police officer from a police line down onto the ground and then beating him with an American flag as well as flags with “TRUMP” written on them.
The chilling video shows the officer who was pulled down covering his face as the crowd around him while repeatedly shouting “USA” and “Get that Motherf-cker out of there!”
Other Capitol Police officers quickly tried to reach the downed officer, but protesters intentionally blocked police while others beat the officer.
When that officer eventually stands again, protesters smash his helmet with projectiles while he retreats back to the police line.
