A new CNBC poll of 1,203 U.S. adults who cast their ballots for President Donald Trump this November revealed their continued unwavering support for the current president, despite voter recounts and states’ certifications further solidifying President-elect Joe Biden’s victory. The poll reports that a staggering 73% of respondents still consider Trump to be the legitimate winner of the election. The vast majority of Trump voters — 81% — said they would not even given Biden a chance as president.

While only 3% of Trump voters believe he should concede the race to Biden, 31% want the president to continue to fight in court until all states certify the results, and another 66% think that Trump should never concede the election.

But the loyalty of Trump’s supporters extends beyond the election results. When asked with whom they would identify if the president left the GOP, 72% responded Trump’s party, while only 28% said they would stay with the Republican Party. Even despite Biden’s clear victory, there is no indication that Trump supporters will back down any time soon.
